Just a fun thread here! I usually always keep these in stock:

    - lemons
    - oven roasted turkey cold cuts
    - olive oil
    - ranch dressing
    - eggs
    - spicy mustard
    - water
    - juice or raspberry/pomegranate/blueberry lemonade
    - seasoned salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder
    - garlic pepper seasoning (but I'm now loving this Rachel Ray 24/7 Seasoning Grinder I'm trying!)

My new favorite things: Hummus, but especially PESTO! But...they can only be from the farmer's markets that I get them from.

I keep a fully stocked kitchen all the time. I live in the boonies, so running to the store isn't easy. I probably have just about anything.

    I always have
    - popcorn
    - humus
    - peanut butter
    - eggs
    - bread

I try to keep up with basic staples (flour, spices, milk, etc) but do not keep a well stocked kitchen by any means. I live alone and am more a 'snacker' than a meal person.

My kitchen is generally kept very well stocked.

    Staple items
Flour (all purpose, self rising, cake flour)
    Dry yeast
    Sugar (granulated and powdered)
    Brown Sugar
    Cornmeal
    Bread crumbs
    Various types of dry beans
    Canned chicken and beef broth
    Evaporated Milk
    Cornstarch
    Grits
Coffee, both American ground and Cuban ground
    Rice
Canned fruits such as pineapple and cranberry
    Fresh and dried spices
Breakfast cereals, both hot and cold
    Graham cracker crumbs
    Sweetened condensed milk
    Baking chocolate
    Chocolate chips
    Peanut butter
    Various pastas and noodles

    Refrigerated/Frozen/other perishables
    Milk
    Eggs
    Cream cheese
    Orange Juice
    Apple Juice
    Fresh fruits and veggies
    Bread
    Full selection of various meats
    Butter
    Bagels
Sliced cheese (American, provolone, Swiss, anything else that strikes my fancy)
Block cheese (Cheddar, Monterey, Jack, Parmesan, or anything that was on sale)
    Honey Mustard dressing
Any fresh stocks that I made and froze (I make stock from the bones of anything I cook that has bones)

I'm sure I'm forgetting something that I always have on hand. Now, if only I had my own kitchen again....

My list is probably pretty close to mm's. My fridge, deep-freeze and pantry are always well-stocked.

Aside from the conglomerated list of the usual suspects, we keep avocados to have with breakfast. And fresh veggies of all sorts are absolutes.

    Another fully stocked kitchen here...

But, I always keep plain Greek yogurt and frozen mango on hand for breakfast. I would be miserable without coffee creamer on hand, and I always need to have milk in the fridge. I'm a true Wisconsin girl at heart--I LOVE my dairy!

I'm pretty well stocked. One thing I try to keep current is my "sick box' of items I'd need on a really bad sick day. I check it every three months to make sure items haven't expired.

We are in a small one bedroom apartment with no pantry and very limited cabinet space, so we don't keep a ton all the time. We go grocery shopping every weekend to restock. I wish we could get stuff at Costco, but we just do not have the storage space. We do always have typical baking ingredients and condiments. And we always have:
    - milk (for me, the milk addict)
    - some kind of cheese
    - jasmine rice (love that stuff)
    - popcorn
    - fat free feta cheese crumbles from Trader Joe's for salads
    - sliced black olives (I am addicted to those too.)
    - canned cat food - not for us obviously, but it's in the kitchen!

I have a stuffed pantry of everything you could think of and, hopefully, enough food to last a month or more, just in case.

Juice for the baby, milk for the significant other, beer for me. Anything else is negotiable and dependent on what's on sale :)

Well, we keep lots of wine on hand. So, check. The liquor cabinet may not be 100% complete but it is stocked as well.

    Got it.

This is a definite must--my dad actually brings it with him at restaurants and going to other people's houses just in case they have "Yankee tastes!"

It also can only be tabasco brand made on Avery Island in Louisiana--no other brand will do!!

Major--you and my dad would be great friends if you ever met!!:)
