Hmm. I've never kept any items in my classroom closet, but perhaps I should. Maybe I can store them in a few of my plastic pull-out drawers and place them on my closet shelves. Last year I had very little room, so it was always a mess in there. This year, I plan on getting everything better organized.

Wow- you all keep a lot at school. I keep a pair of scrub pants- only to be used if I'm peed on or puked on etc. I've had to use them once. I also had to borrow pants once and buy a pair of school sweatpants for 20 bucks once.

I do keep deodarent in my backpack as well as advil/tylenol.

I keep a change of clothes - I was thrown up on once and had chocolate milk spilled on me once. I also keep a pair of house slippers under my desk, they feel nice at the end of the day when I sit down to do paperwork.

I just kept maxi pads and an umbrella in my room. The nurse had Advil for the teachers and I couldn't keep it in my room because I had nothing that locked.

I've never been peed or puked on, but I think next year I will probably keep a change of clothes.

One of my boys was trying to be all macho and not admit he was feeling sick. When he was in line I could tell he was feeling bad and I went over to pull him out of line and send him to the nurse. That's when he puked on me. I just stood there and had another teacher grab the kids. Then I did one of those heebie-jeebie dances.

I keep pretty much what everybody else keeps, with the addition of a shout stain stick. I teach 1st grade and they end up with lunch, snack, paint, etc all over them. I'll treat the stain as a public service :) for their parents!

Wow, all I kept last year was:

*Some soup in one of those microwavable containers in case I forgot lunch or didn't have any money
    *plastic forks
    *small hairbrush
*tylenol (hidden in the very back of my desk)

I will bring some comfy shoes this year, though!

 I do special ed in the moderate/severe class. Most of the time they don't give you any warning before letting loose. And when you're potty training or changing diapers, well anything can happen.

Teachers all over the school know that if they need something, I probably have it. I forgot the Tide pen...it's in my desk drawer with a nail file and more bandaids. :woot: Think I'll change my name to Mrs. CVS

Wow! I never even considered keeping some of these items at school. I have a pair of slippers, a sweater, hairdryer, a nail file, a toothbrush and toothpaste, dental floss and maybe a can of soup. I only teach 15 minutes from my home. If disaster struck someone would cover my class and I'd go home and change. I do keep a sweatshirt, winter boots, gloves, hat, umbrella, and extra socks in my car.
