I know we may have done this before, but I need a refresher...plus there are always new people coming about!

MissWull - "Miss" because I was not married when I signed up to this website. "Wull" because it's a nickname my family has called me since I was little...and I still have no idea where it came from...no one really does! :p

It was how people addressed me at work for a large portion of my adult life. Sort of the military equivalent to "teacher."

I've always loved Jem and the Holograms-my IM name has 'jem' in it as well. When I came here, I wanted a different name from the last forum I was on, so I just chose this one. It's my 'alternate personality', like Jem was Jerica's alternate personality. ;)

Mine is my nickname at home. Grandma gave it to me the day I was born. Pronounced "kay-brute-ah." In Italian it literally means "how ugly"

My name is pretty easy to figure out :D

I worked at a school- Emerson- when I signed up. I wanted to add something to it so I tacked on my boyfriend's nickname for me. He has no idea where he got it but as soon as he started calling me his "squirl"- yes, it's pronounced like the bushy tailed animal- it stuck.

A teacher and I once joked that we went to college to learn how to cut and glue (elementary) since that is what we spend so much time doing. When I saw runningw/scissor's name it reminded me of that comment.

No great difficulty figuring mine out...my last name starts with "C". Several of my grade 7 and 8 boys call me Mrs. C. (I only object when it's preceeded by "Yo" or followed by "Wassap?"

My last name starts with D, and some students call me Mr. D.

It's funny...every time I introduce myself to a new class, someone always asks if they can call me Mr. D. What's up with that?

I understand with long names or ones that are difficult to pronounce. Mine is only 2 syllables--5 letters, yet some find it easier to use MrsC.

I generally don't sleep much, when I originally signed up it was about 2:00 A.M., so I'm a hooting owl, Hoot Owl. It was so much pressure to come up with a name, if I'd had more time or wanted to change my name I'd be Miss Chatterbox.

Many years ago we (the teachers) took a personality test to see what "color" we were. I am gold---super organized, precise,
want things done a certain way. So...Goldie.

Blessed..............I am blessed. In many ways it reflects my spiritual side and relationship with God.

Hands...I wanted to teach those in the deaf community when I first joined and use my sign language to communicate/translate to others. Hence, the blessedhands.

I've used nattles19 for a long time - since I was 19, go figure. It came from the name of a girl in a band I really liked. And 19 happens to sound good after Nattles!

Now it feels more like my name than hers! :D

I have a pretty easy last name too, but many students call me Mr. B too. I guess there's more call for a monosyllabic last name since two syllables are already used up on the "mister"? Who knows.

There are those here who have suggested that I play the ACCordian, but those are the first letters of my last name.

And I thought that a simple "AA" would have implications I would rather avoid.
