I had an assistant principal call me Thursday to "discuss my credentials." It was from a school that I hand delivered my resume packet for an open parapro position. Well, I couldn't talk at the moment (at work) and she said, "OK, you can call me back."

Well, I call her back later that afternoon at the school. I don't reach her. I send an email. She emails me back 3 a.m. Friday giving me her cell phone number and telling me to call her so we can "finish our discussion."

I call Friday around 10 a.m. No answer, so I leave a message. I call again around 2 p.m. No answer and no message that time (I didn't want to be a pest)

It seems they aren't really interested in me for a job. And if they are, I really would like to know since I have an interview for another school on Monday.

Should I put any stock in this? Or move on?

She probably got busy or took a long weekend, but I would def. go to the other interview and keep looking. But you can still try to follow up with her again.

Sure, I'd keep following up & leave an actual voice message again later. Due to busy-ness & timing, I'd give her the benefit of the doubt that she's not blowing you off. Not many people would give their personal cell # out if they didn't mean it.

Any yes, definitely go on any more interviews you can!

Would you mention anything about having another interview or (possibly) another offer?
Or is it kinda tacky to bring up other interview/offers to potential employers?

I wouldn't mention other interviews. I would only mention an offer after you already have one.

She called back! :woot: on a Sunday, no less.
She asked me a couple questions and asked me to interview tomorrow morning!! :)
This is for a job that I was told they already put in names to HR (someone must have declined the position). So don't lose hope, everyone!
