I've been instructed to make a Christmas list while the rest of my family is at work today. I always have the hardest time coming up with anything. I'm thinking about just asking for a smartphone, but I'm not sure how pricey that is. I have wanted one for forever but never could justify the price. Especially now that I'm in a new city, there are just SO many instances where I've found myself actually needing one. Obviously I'd have to pay for the plan myself, but I'm doing some extra tutoring now. I'm going to look more into that, but I might just end up getting that for myself, so I'm looking for smaller ideas...what are you hoping for? Maybe I can steal some ideas!

I'm sure this won't be on many Christmas lists but I want an electric pressure cooker. I've been without one for over a year and im blaming the lack of one b the a15 lbs I've put on since I have been here. I know aI won't eat as much fried chicken fast food (popeyes) if I can come home and cook.

    Here's what I got already:

2013 Season pass to Six Flags Magic Mountain

    Here's what I'm planning:

Few days in Vegas w/ BF from 12/26 - 12/29
    - We'll see a Cirque show that's $160/ticket...got it down to $129.30/ticket 6th row almost center.
    - Go to the $30/person Titanic exhibit
    - Go to a couple buffets
    - Shop & more!

Here's what I'd like to possibly have, but if not, no biggie:

Black leather jacket - I've had my old one forever
    XBox 360
    Dried persimmons

I'm probably going to buy myself a Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas this year.

My BF bought us a two day stay at a hotel I've wanted to stay at for a while in Monterrey and surprised me with it. We're going this weekend.

I always want more than I tell my husband, because I know he'd have a hard time finding the right thing :)

I plan out my own stocking stuffers, because I don't want to be left out when everyone else's is bulging ;)

    Fitbit
Charm bracelet and charms (think Pandora but not as expensive)
    Gold hoop earrings
    New everyday dishes
Clothes (won't happen, but is a need after using MyFitnessPal)
    Magnetic nail polish
    Trouser socks

I'd like a Kindle or iPad, but won't ask for either, as my smartphone will do the same, even has a Kindle app.

I really feel weird asking for anything, as we are spending lots of money on a new living/dining room. I'll be surrounded by new things right before Christmas.

    I got new tires.

My old ones had started to dry rot, and I had two flats in a week. I ordered new tires, and my mom went to get them for me. When I got out my checkbook to pay her for them, she told me happy birthday and merry Christmas.

That's it for me. We don't usually do presents. She wanted to buy them for me since I'd just finished paying for my divorce.

I asked hubby for some new cookware but I'm not sure if I"m going to pick it out or he will. I really do need some new clothes so hopefully I will get some gift cards from my mom and sister. My MIL always gives cash to hubby and I (seperate cards so I get to spend mine on whatever I want!!) so that will probably go towards clothes too.

A Dyson! I am probably going to pick one up this weekend during the Black Friday sales because they are 25% off, and I don't think I'm going to find better than that. I asked my parents if they would put money towards it for Christmas!

    I can't think of anything I want.

It seems like I had an idea about something for my truck, but I can't think of what it is now.

I have no ideas for my husband, either.

Magnetic naile polish? Okay, that sounds interesting, but why? I mean, can you buy teeny tiny obejcts to put on your nails? like magnets? :p

I purchased glow in the dark nail polish today. I thought, ooooh, these'll be fun when I'm doing my evening yoga classes at the studio. :D

What do I want? a bunny, a bird (conure), running clothes, other fun running gear.

The adult school class next to me has a spinning class twice a week. I love to watch what they create. They just did a contest for charity - a group of them got together and were competing with other groups to make sweaters for charity. The whole thing had to be done from scratch in one day from spinning to knitting. Very cool. They were slow the first time they did it, so the second time they had a rule - no talking - they said that was the hardest part - lol!

Haha! The magnetic nail polish creates a cool, swirly effect when you put the magnetic wand over the polish when its wet. It doesn't actually make your nails magnetic. :) I got the giggles when I imagined putting little magnets on your fingernails.

Ooooh, interesting. Haven't heard of that. Does that design stay put then after you move the wand over it? That would be a cool gift for my friend then!

One of my friends is OBSESSED with that stuff. She paints her nails, moves the magnet over them, and the iron filings in the nails move the polish to make really sweet swirly designs. And yeah it stays, cause once the polish is dry, the iron filings can't move anymore.

My family isn't too big on Christmas gifts, so we usually just do one gift per person. I'll probably get my fiancé something for our apartment for when we move in July, but I'm not sure what yet. We've decided not to do anything too expensive unless it's for the apartment because we're trying to save up. I'm not sure what I want other than that. I love clothes, so I would be happy with a gift card to a clothing store.

That sounds really cool, for my daughter. I don't manage to do my nails very often.

I'm asking for gold hoops, DH has said that's for DD to get me.

I'm also hoping for shoes, which I really need. I'm looking & pinning, not that DH ever looks at pinterest!

    Clothes would be nice.

Well, I talked to my mom about getting the smartphone, and she said that she would get that as long as I was paying for the plan (which I was obviously planning on doing anyway). But we'd have to just go to the store together so they could set up my name/credit card to the plan and set up my new number and everything, and it costs 200 dollars so that's all I'd be asking for. It is what I really want, but then I won't have any presents under the tree to open on Christmas day...kind of depressing! We don't have any other family to exchange with. I'm still toying with the idea of just getting the phone myself and asking for some smaller things. The problem is still that I don't know what "smaller things" I would ask for!
