What do you think of Ellen on American Idol?

I will really miss Paula. I don't see how it can compare. What a goofball

 

I love Ellen - I think she's hilarious - but I'm not sure how she'll fit in on AI. It should be interesting. I think I would miss Paula less if Kara wasn't so annoying but I like Paula better than her.

 

Well, she isn't on yet. She won't be on until Hollywood, I think. I won't miss Paula, actually, but I'm not sure why they want more of a comedy angle on the show, either. Maybe they just want to lighten it up. I like Ellen, so I'm looking forward to watching.

 

I love Ellen. But I don't watch American Idol, so...

For the record, I can't stand her!

 

Well I ony caught the last 5 minutes of AI and there was no Ellen. I felt ripped off. Ahh well, there are greater problems in the world.

 

She won't be on until February.

I can't stand her at all. UGH!

 

She won't be starting until Hollywood week...that's about when I normally start watching the show so it'll be interesting to see the dynamic.

 

I'm going to miss Paula sliding into oblivion every show... Anyone know when Joe Jonas is supposed to guest judge? My daugther can't wait.

 

Joe Jonas? Well, I knew there had to be a last straw, and that's it for me...

I think Joe Jonas did the Dallas auditions which are supposed to air not next week but the following week, if I recall from what I read. I'm not 100% positive, though.

Personally, I'm looking forward to Shania and Neil Patrick Harris!

 

I thought it was hysterical when that foul-mouthed angry guy who wouldn't stop singing said he wished Paula were there. I don't think she could have helped him enough.

 

These "guest" judges make me feel schizophrenic.

Although Mary J. Blige was hysterical!

 

I love Ellen and think she's hilarious, but I'm still not sure how she's going to fit in on AI. I liked her when she hosted the Idol Gives Back show a couple of years ago, but that's different. On a side note, I heard on my local radio morning show yesterday how she and Simon don't get along at all.

 

I loved Mary J on there. When she had her moments where she couldn't stop laughing. HAHA! Sry little off topic!! I think Ellen will bring humor to the show. I can't wait to see her on there although I already miss Paula. I think she gave that " nice" perspective to judging them. Simon is just hurtful sometimes and makes a person feel like they totally suck. Paula at least made them feel like they were still a good person who just either couldnt sing or needed work.
