Currently, my hair is just below my shoulders. I have no bangs. I have a longish nose. I'm looking for a hairstyle that will work with my nose, big forehead, and something that is easy to wash, dry, and crimp with fingers or with hot rollers.

My hair appointment is tomorrow. It's with a new girl but my hubby likes her. So, I"m willing to give her a try. This will be my first haircut since 08.

I'm leaning more towards the last one, but with longer bangs (so that I can push them out of the way if I don't want bangs that day).

They're all cute. I like the bangs on the second one best. I've never had hair that would curl.

I like the first 2 pics better. My bangs are currently sideswept like that & I like it. I think it's a more modern look than bangs straight across. I've had mine like that at times in the past.

Bangs can be difficult. I'd go with#2 if any....the dress in #3 is really scary. Definitely not interview attire.

I'm definitely for number three....... There was something about it that made me zero in on the "haircut.".......

I have bangs like #2 (but short hair). They have to be blown dry to lie like that; otherwise, they're easy to push out of the way :)

? I guess I was just asking what you guys thought of them. Or, are you saying that I should have used the word hairstyle instead. Whoops

I think the point was that dress #3 obliterated any thoughts of haircuts.

I couldn't focus on the hair in #3 due to the "girls" being displayed. :haha::). I do like the side bangs in #2.

I think #3 is the best "Hair cut" I have seen on A to Z in a long long time
It stimulates my professional outlook on the teaching environment
i would love to team teach with a teacher that had that "Hair cut"
I know I would be more attentive to what My team member was teaching and I would try to intersect with her on teaching methods.

All three are fine. What you need to do is decide how YOUR HAIR will fit these styles. Mine wouldn't stay sideswept quite as glossy as number two. I couldn't pull it off.

LOL. I live on one. I should start finding out how to check weather warnings here though. There is a speaker on my doorbell that has a prerecorded message every evening telling children it is time to go home, take bathes, do their homework, eat, etc. in Japanese. I have a feeling that's an emergency announcement speaker too since this announcement is on homes all over the island. I know there is a way for us to do it, I just haven't checked anything out yet.

If I had to choose for myself, I would pick the bangs in #3. I couldn't handle the sideswept since I know I'd be pushing hair out of my eyes all day.

The trend is toward a 'bang' like in #3, but sometimes to me, they look too Betty Paige. But if you go with a shorter bang, you can still sweep it over-just takes a bit of gel.

I just went back and looked at the photos again. I think the problem with #2 is that the swept to the side bangs will constantly be in your face. This is a nice, still photo and I bet the hair is plastered with spray to keep the bangs looking perfect. In real life, I think they will be in in your eyes unless you hold them back with a clip and then what is the point? Just my opinion.

Yeah, I worry about that happening with the side-swept bangs too. At the moment, my hair is all of one length and I create kind of a fake side swept bang look by pulling my hair over and tucked behind my ear (I've been too chicken to get my bangs cut).

Well, I will show these photos to the hair dresser and see what she says. I may end up chickening out and just get a simple trim/style.

So, I ended up getting a combination of 1 and 2 (a messier version), and with a little bit more of a trim, I'll be able to get to 3, which is my goal. I haven't had bangs since I was 11, so I'm taking baby step. I love it! It's very beachy, which is perfect for my new home town.

If you are a facebook friend, then you'll see it on there.

Regis makes a product called Interrupt that comes in a little container. It will hold you bangs in place & works great. :)

I have side swept bangs. Some days they are great and other days they just hang in my eyes and I can't do anything with them. When I work out, I tip my head forward, gather them in front, twist them and then bobby pin them straight back. I'm going to go check out your Facebook picture right now!
