Just curious. My car now is a 2002 Corolla. It doesn't have power locks or power windows and no cruise control, but I love it! It totally suits my needs, and it's great on gas. I do miss the power functions from my old car, but I think it's a great trade-off.

My last car was a 1996 Taurus. It was a great car for me until it started having thermostat problems. It's sitting in my driveway because I've never sold a car before and I'm putting it off....

My "dream car" would be a Fiat.

I drive a subaru legacy. I live in the mountains and it was kind of a requirement, especially with the AWD. I liked the imprezza better but it seemed so tiny/not very powerful and I didn't know if it could handle the tough driving conditions. I'm not kidding when I say at least 95% of people up here drive subarus.

I got my subaru in 2010. Before that I had a really old honda accord which was a fabulous car. It was a 98 and had been my family's car before they gave it to me around 2005. It had been driven everywhere for vacations and was the car we always used anytime we went out or anything like that. It had over 100,000 miles on it when I got it and worked like a dream. I never had any problems with it, and it had something like 180,000 miles on it by the time I was done with it. I would have kept it for longer, but again, moving up to the mountains I knew a little rear- wheel drive accord wasn't going to make it.

2005 Toyota Tundra 4x4 CrewCab. Great truck.

2009 Ford F150 4x4 SuperCrew. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS TRUCK. My husband bought a 2011 one, too!

I have a 2002 Suzuki Vitara. I bought it new 10 years ago, and it now has 180 K miles. It look like I can drive it for a few more years.
Lately I've been putting more work into it, especially since I drive a lot more, but overall, the maintenance still hasn't cost me that much.
I love it, because it's an SUV, more space inside, while it's still kinda small (I can park easily, make u-turn, etc) and I'm sitting up high, so I can see better.
I don't think I would ever want a car after this, only SUVs.

My first vehicle was a 1989 F150. It was good for a first car.

1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I bought it from an individual. It was a Limited so it had the upgrades. I loved that car until the AC went out. Living in Texas, that wouldn't have worked once summer it!

2005 Chevy Tahoe. My first new car! I LOVED that car too! I couldn't have driven the wheels off that thing. It had just reached 105,000 when I traded it in for..

2011 Toyota Camry. My fav by far! I got it because I wanted something smaller and to save on gas.

1989 Plymouth Reliant...a good little car
1992 Ford Escort....my son and dil used it for a 2nd car until last year and it had over 200,000 miles on it.
1999 Ford F150 4x4 SuperCrew ....my other son is still driving it.It still only has about 70,000 miles on it as we used it very little...loved it

Right now I'm in a fairly new Audi, but prior to this I have only owned two other cars:

-2008 Honda Civic (during grad school)
-Ford Explorer, given to me by my dad once I got my driver's license.

There were times when I didn't own a car but I simply didn't need one because I was living in the city.

my first car was a 1985 Honda CRX, then a 2003 VW Golf. My husband and I just got our first brand new car- a new Kia Optima. We love it, but it did have a dud engine so after just 6 months the entire engine was replaced! Luckily it was all under warranty.

During that time I had a rental Fiat...not my favorite. It's so small and didn't have any of the fun additions my Optima has!

2007 Chevrolet TrailBlazer (owned from 2006-2008)
2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT (owned from 2003-2006)
1999 Pontiac Grand Am (owned from 2001-2003)
1990 Chevrolet Lumina (owned from 1999-2001)

Right now I have a 2010 Corolla that I've had for two years. Before that a 2006 Corolla that I bought in 2006 (I have been very happy with Corollas!) and my first car was a 1995 Mercury Sable that I bought in 2002 right before my senior year of high school.

I have a 2005 Honda Civic. It used to be my parents' car, but they gave it to me. It has a lot of miles on it, but the only place I need to drive to is work so I don't need a new car anyways.

    * 2005 Grand Caravan - current; bought Dec 2007 when needed more space for another car seat - good thing since I now have 3 car seats in it plus other passengers
    * 2001 Blazer - hubby's current; I drove it when I had only 1 kiddo
    * 1998 F150 NASCAR edition - still have as extra vehicle
    * 1994 Mercury Tracer - nice little car, 1st car payment ever, miss the MPG!
    * 1987 Chevy S10 - loved it but it was just a plain jane ride, previously was a telephone line truck so it was stripped to metal & vinyl inside
    * 1984 Ford Escort - 1st car, paid in full with my graduation money

I have a 2008 Honda Civic. It's been very good to me. I had to change the battery for the first time a few months ago which is good because I live in an extreme heat climate and batteries go bad faster. My car before that was a Nissan Altima and I loved it, but had a lot of problems with it.

I hope I can drive my Civic for many, many years.I love the idea of buying new but I think I might look into used for my next car.

    My husband drives a 2010 Insight, and I drive a 2005 Corolla. Before, I drove a 1992 Camry, and before that a 1993 Cavalier.

My next car will likely be a hybrid crossover of some sort, because my hubby wants something bigger.

1996 Honda Accord, automatic - was totaled in a wreck.
2006 Honda Civic coupe, 5 speed - still going strong! Just replaced the original battery and brakes on him last summer.

1992 green Toyota Camry - when the repairs got to be more than how much it had cost, it was time to go...

2007 silver Toyota Corolla - my current car - I LOVE it. :) Great gas mileage, I love the size...I just love it. I don't have power windows or power door locks, but I couldn't care less. I'll drive this one til it dies and then go out and buy another Corolla.

I drive a 1994 Jeep Cherokee. I got it for $1300 on Craigslist and fixed it up! I love jeeps and I like the extra space because I tend to caravan a LOT of materials everywhere regularly.

I used to drive my mom's 95 Lexus ES300, and before that a Mercury Cougar which died on the road.

My dream car has always been a jeep, but when I was a teenager, I always thought it would be a Jeep Wrangler.

My current dream car would still be a Jeep Cherokee, but maybe 98, with that light-blue paint.

High school-drove my parents' 1993 Mercury Cougar. Hated it. Nice car, flashy looking (for the time), but rear wheel drive, and could never get around in Nebraska winters.

College-1995 Ford Probe. Loved that car. Five speed, red, just loved it! Wish I still had it, but after I got married, we sold it for...

Married-2000 GMC Yukon. Hubby also had a 2001 Ford F150. Loved the Yukon, not the F150 (gas mileage, and way too expensive for us at the time). Since then, we've had:

1999 Dodge Intrepid (to drive to work, drove it til it died)
2005 Ford F250 (bought new, still have-love. Fits us well)
2004 Chevy Blazer (bought used, good car-still have)
2011 Chevy Tahoe (just bought, LOVE)

1982 Chevy Impala "the Brown Bomb" - drove that in high school, then my parents gave it to me in 1997. Drove it until the engine fell out.

1996 Ford Escort Wagon - my grandmother's - my parents gave it to me when she couldn't drive it anymore. My mechanic wrecked the steering.

2001 GMC Sonoma - loved it, loved it, loved it-old lady in a Mercedes totalled it one month after I paid it off.

2000 Honda CRV - fantastic car, has 260,000 miles on it, has only needed routine maintenance. Bought it with my insurance money for my GMC. Will hopefulyl run until my husband pays off his new Ford Flex.

I have owned Renaults for the last 15 years. My last car prior to my current was a Renault Megane Cabriolet (convertible). However expansion of the family when the first grandchild came along required me to get a car that a child seat would fit into!

So I now drive a 2011 Kia Sportage.

I keep cars forever. I've owned three since I started driving in 1986.

1986-1996 I drove a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera coupe. I loved that car. I gave it to my mom in 196, and she drove it until 2007.

    1996-2009 I dr a 1996 Monte Carlo Z34. I sold it to my cousin.

    2009-now I drive a 2008 F-150 STX extended cab.

I had the same car since I was 16, which I bought with my own money for $1500. When I left for Costa Rica in 2011 I gave it away to someone I knew who really needed a car.

    1990 Honda Accord

Now I share a car with my boyfriend. Cars are way too expensive for us each to have our own (think 2-3 times the price in the USA, and gas $6/gallon)

In the UK we are currently paying nearly $8.50 a US gallon. Luckily the Sportage does around 43 to the US gallon.

Right now I am driving a Suburu Forester. Need the AWD for the snow we get in the winter.
In the past 10 years I have driven:
    Chevy Malibu
    Ford Escape
    Jeep Wrangler

I miss my Jeep, but not the lousy gas mileage.

I really don't know the years on most of mine. My first car was a white Ford Taurus. I bought it from a little old lady who only drove it to church on Sunday and once a week to the grocery store. :)

My father works at a Ford dealership, so twice he sold my car on me. The first time I knew about it--they wanted me to have something a little newer when I was driving back and forth to college. I got a Focus then. I loved that car! You could fit so much stuff in the backseat and trunk. One day in the summer between my junior and senior year, my dad called me and told me to empty it out and bring it in because he had sold it. I was not happy with him--and I told him he had better find me another blue Focus. I got that one in 2005, and drove that one until this year. I'm single and live alone far from family, so when I went over 100,000 miles and started having some issues with it, I decided it was time for something new. In December I got a 2012 Ford Escape, and I really like having a little SUV.

(My 'my dad sold my car on me' story isn't as good as my sister's--she came home from a friend's house to find her stuff out of her car stacked on the porch...)

Car 1: 19something Ford Fairmont...drove it for a few months, then I hit a tree that fell over the road during a storm.

Car 2: 1988 Buick Park Avenue...my uncle gave it to me after I lost the Fairmont. I drove it until someone driving the wrong way on my side of the road delivering newspapers hit me...totalled.

Car 3: 1984 Oldsmobile 88...then BF's mother's boss sold it to me after the Park Avenue. That one lasted a few months until BF drove it while overheated.

Drove my BF's car for a few years, then left him...and when I did, I got:

Car 4: 1994 Chevy Cavalier. I LOVED that car, even though it had no air conditioning. Even though I live in Texas, driving it at night like I did (worked evenings and graveyards) was great! Had it until I fell behind on payments, and it got repo'ed.

Drove my mom's car a while, and then got my next car...

Car 5: 1994 Ford Taurus...PIECE OF JUNK!!! It was in the shop over half the time I owned it, which was 6 months...

Car 6: 1992 Oldsmobile 98...I absolutely loved that car, and I drove it until it was falling apart...even with no air conditioning...and the dealership where I traded it in was nice to give me $100 for it...he went out there, took one glance at it, came back in, and said, "I hate to break it to ya..." to which I replied..."I know! You don't have to tell me!" Traded it for...

Car 7: 2001 Pontiac Sunfire...drove it for 10 months, and it had a blown head gasket, and traded it for a...

Car 8: 2008 Chevy Uplander...my first big car, newest car, and current vehicle....and it has AIR CONDITIONING!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this car!! Keeping this one for a while!
