I would like to learn more about how to use writers workshop in my classroom and I'm looking for a professional book that can help me. I'm hoping to find a book that is an interesting read and provides details about teaching mini lessons and which mini lessons to teach. Can you recommend a good book?:thanks:

I use Lucy Calkins Units of Study. I have the K-2 program which has 8 books (or units), but I know there is a 3-5 kit as well. I believe the kit of 8 books is around 150 bucks.
