I'm still reading Einstein by Jacobson and also just received Phineas Gage A Gruesome but True Story About Brain Science. I can't believe he had a tamping iron go through jaw and the front part of his skull. It's amazing he survived it at all. Can't wait to read more.

I just finished Double Cross by James Patterson, and I've started Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson.

I'm a sucker for police procedurals, psychological thrillers, mysteries, and young adult fiction.

I'm such a dork I'm into young adult books. I am thinking about pre-ordering Stephanie Meyers new book about vampires. It comes out in August.

With a reading class I have, I'm reading True Believer by Virginia Euwer Wolff. They are really enjoying it! At home I'm reading Killing Mister Watson by Peter Matthiessen. I started it several years ago, but didn't finish it. Don't remember why, exactly!

I'm almost done with 19 Minutes. Wow! I started reading Saturday and spent the whole weekend reading it - could NOT stop. So, now I'm almost done with the book, but the laundry is piled high, the stack of papers to be graded keeps getting taller and the fridge is almost empty!

    I looove Philippa Gregory.
I've been waiting for a year for The Other Boleyn Girl movie, and right now I'm coughing too much to enjoy the theater. Hopefully I can go this weekend...
There are several other books in the series- The Constant Princess, The Queen's Fool, and The Virgin's Lover.

Now I'm trying to read her Meridon trilogy, but it's really weird. I couldn't really get into the first one, and now I'm afraid to try the other two.

Well, I'm almost embarrased to admit but I just finished reading Danielle Steel's Sisters this weekend. It wasn't bad.

I needed a light read after spending the week doing Homer and Shakespeare!

I'm not embarrassed about it-I love trashy romance novels!

I also really love books by Jude Devereaux and James Patterson.

I read 19 minutes also, but....I read so much that I don't remember what it was about! Lol. My husband makes fun of me-I go to the library, get at least 7 books, and read them all in a week. So my husband doesn't get any time with me because I'm always reading!

I've started In an Instant, the story of Bob Wodruff, the ABC reporter who was about blown to bits in Iraq. I read about 1/2 over Christmas now I seem to have lost interest.

I don't seem to have any time to read anymore. :(

I've been reading the Janet Evanovich books. They read very quickly but always get me laughing. Her Stephanie Plum books crack me up.

I LOVE the Evanovich books!!!!! In a simlar vein, I am re-reading Donald Westlake's Dortmunder series- comic crime novels. They are hilarious. I also like Lawrence Block's Burglar series. Anyone else know any funny crime/mystery series?

I love all of Jodi Picoult's books - My Sister's Keeper is my all time favorite of hers.

I'm currently reading: Specials by Scott Westerfield and a bunch of professional reads
Re-reading: To Kill a Mockingbird (for 8th grade class) and House of the Scorpion (for 7th grade class)
