Well, the dog had to go out at 4 am!

Then the alarm went off at 5, I showered and changed, emailed my sister, and 44 minutes later I'm winding up "me time" before I turn into mommy. Our break doesn't start for a week and a half.

But you're several hours behind me... you should still be sleeping!

What works for me is a pillow and blanket on the couch, with something unexciting on the TV-- Nick at Night or something else I can listen to without watching. Turn it down really low-- so low that you almost have to strain to hear it.

    Pleasant dreams!!

I woke up early, but it's not the start of my break, it's the end.

I'm back at school today after my break. While I wasn't up at 5:00 last week, I was usually up by 6:15 or so, I just can't sleep in anymore. I do love being up in the house when everyone else is still asleep.

Lauren's alarm just went off--time to get into "Mom" mode and get some breakfast for her.

Our break starts today. I could not sleep Fri. night until about 5 a.m. Sat! Sunday was jump and run all day. Now today starts our break. I got to sleep about 2:30. I had to be at the school early because I forgot a project I was supposed to do before I left Friday!

I am going to exercise today and see if that helps. Doctor says teachers have too much adrenaline built up at the end of the day and we need to work it off just to be able to sleep.

This time, I didn't happen to be on the computer at the time you started this, but I was probably still up from the day before watching TV, being the night owl that I am! :)

I ask myself this same question on Saturdays and Sundays when I can't sleep in. I want to enjoy these mornings now because come June I won't be sleeping much at all, I'll have myself a newborn to take care of all night.

Last night, it was sitting in the ER at 3 am with my 3-year old that kept me up. He woke up screaming and crying and saying his stomach hurt, and it didn't seem to be subsiding.

    He was constipated.:|
