I am thinking of only the P-3 certification since I am fine working in daycare and private preschools. I have no energy for multiple certifications. I know the job market is horrible but if I am ok with daycare/pvt. schools, what are the chances of getting hired?

    Thanks so much,

There are jobs where I live in preschool/daycare but not much money. I decided to get my P-5 cert so I could earn more than the preK was paying

The daycares and pre-k programs around here don't require full certification- if that's what you're interested in I would definitely check out the places in your area before enrolling in a degree program. You don't want to pay however many thousands of dollars for the full degree and never be able to pay that back making 8-12 dollars an hour, which is the standard rate in my area at least, whether you are certified or not.
