We have to be in the classroom from 7:15-3:00 and we have students from 7:30-2:45.
I'm usually there at about 6:50 and leave anywhere from 3:30-4:30. This is my first year as well. It seems like we are a pretty early school!

Students arrive at 8:40, instruction begins at 9:00. they leave at 3:40. Teachers are required to be there from 8:40-4:10 every day, but I get there no later than 7:00 and I'm there until 5:00 at least 2-3 nights per week, not to mention all the papers I take home to grade, all the planning I do at home, etc.. That doesn't count any extra tutoring jobs or anything. Its a long day every day!

Teachers - 8:30 - 3:55, with a 35 min lunch, 30 min prep, and two 15 min recesses.
Students - 9:00 - 3:25 (technically it's 9:05, but they come in at 9:00)
Teachers 7:10 to 3:10 (technically)
Students 7:20 to 2:10
Most days I get there before 7:00 and I leave by 2:30 (since they have done so many furloughs (6) and other cuts they have opted to allow us to leave when our instructional day is over to improve moral. I would rather grade and do things like that at home.
We are still waiting to hear what our calendar will be next year.

I normally arrive right at 7:15 and stay 'till around 3:30-4ish. Rarely stay later than 4:00, but sometimes leave right at 2:30 if I'm super duper tired!
That is quite a long day for both teachers AND students! WOW!!!
Teachers - 8:10 - 3:15
Students - 8:30 - 1:45 (3-5 students go until 2:45)
Buses arrive at 7:55 and if you are on bus duty, you are expected to be at school at 7:55 (that happens once every two weeks)
