We are having a western theme next year. I'd like to use it in my computer lab specifically for keyboarding. In the past I've had "Keyboarding Bootcamp". Students were part of the Home Row Battalion. They got their dog tags when they learned enough keys to type their name. We had a boot camp chant with 3 verses. Students learned one verse right away, one after we learned the Home Row keys, and the last after we finish all the keys.

All I have come up with so far is a name "Home 'Row'-deo". I'd like a trinket to give students after they can spell their name and some kind of Western/cowboy song with a tune they would recognize that we could use for a keyboarding song. All fun ideas are welcome. Any cute decoration ideas (for a computer lab) welcome too!

Maybe a cattle drive? Or a wagon train? You could use WANTED posters to display a Western-ized version of computer lab expectations and/or assignments.
