Hello! I am writing my welcome letter and I would like to copy vannapk=)-- I go to your website quite often!-- and include an FAQ and also an interest survey for the parents to fill out about their children, as well as something for the child to color according to interests. Does anyone have examples of interest surveys they have used? I don't think I am googling the right words, as I am having difficulty even finding examples! Also if anyone would be willing to share some of the information that they include in their welcome letter I would be much appreciative!!
I made one last year after finding a couple. * What is your child good at? * What do you think is most important for your child to learn this year? * What is your biggest hope for your child this year? * Do you have any special skills, talents, interests or family traditions you would be willing to share with the class? * What are your child's hobbies? * Any other information, concerns or questions for me.
Some of them ask about reading interests or just interests in general. You can kind of get to know the parents through what you ask the kids.... asking the parents what their child's favorite thing to do is.. ( you might get a different answer from the child! =) I'm just stuck on really wording the questions, I guess I need to figure out exactly what I want to know before I start to do questions.
