Hello everyone! I'm a general education 1st grade teacher. This year I have 3 fully included students with special needs-- two are classified as autistic, and one is ADHD and ODD. This is my first time working with children with autism and ODD, and I was looking for some websites with great strategies. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!!! (BTW- I do have an in-class support professional with me for the entire day, and a special education teacher coming in to team teach 3 periods a day).
It is great that you are looking for ideas, and have the support of other professionals in the classroom! That is the way to set your kids up for success. This is a great site giving info on how to set up a classroom to meet needs of students with autism (would work well for ODD as well).
