My students love to use the class computer, but we can't seem to find a website that is 3 year old friendly. We use pbskids.org and often on sesame street, but a lot of the kids can't do many of the games themselves. Any suggestions?

    Hi

You may want to check out http://anothernewsite.com/

The site provides links to different children's educational . It may be really helpful in your classroom.

Not websites, as we don't have web access in the classrooms... but my kids enjoy:

    Madeline Preschool/Madeline Kindergarten
    Calliou's Playhouse
    Little Bear's Rainy Day Activities
    Jay Jay the Jet Plane

They also enjoy using Microsoft Paint, for some reason ;)

    hey, that was my homework!!!

My prof. just gave us a three page list! Said we should all be doing more with technology.

    Most of us are techonphobic

Guess I'm one of them! I honestly feel that working with the kids is more than enough. I think if I was more comfortable with it, and could multi-task, you know like the one time I ordered something while talking to my cousin at the same time..I could probably do it...

    but here ya go..

btw...I only looked at these two..

http://www.starfall.com/ is a good one. For Pre K you would have them start with the activities in #1 (abc's let's get ready to read)

There are sparkles that show up on the page for the kids to learn to put their mouse over the sparkles and click on that spot to continue. It's very easy to follow. The rest of the time they are doing activities that begin the learning to read from left to right, and other beginning activities. There are different levels, too. I used it when my kids were younger. Hope you like it!

We don't have internet access in our room, wish we did for starfall alone. I LOVE it. I recommend it to the parents at the beginning of the year too. Great site!!

Just my opinion, but none of the mentioned websites are 3yo friendly:( That was nice of the prof to give you a list, but I hope it was a list for elementary classrooms and not preschool.
