Does anyone know a site where kids can create webpages? A safe one?

    Thanks

You can make a wiki on shutterfly.com I am in a teaching computer in the elementary school room class and that is what we used to make a webquest for our students. But on this wiki the author can decide who can edit it or not- so you can make it so only you can change it- basically making it more of a webpage than a wiki.

I have used blogs, but yikes the things you see on the sign up page makes me think I could never use it with kids. But on shutterfly I do not have that problem. This is may not be exactly what you are looking for, but you might like to look into it. Good luck! I cannot wait to hear other replies!
