All week we are supposed to get down in the teen's for the low temperatures. I hate that in the morning.

I heard on the news this morning that we're expecting about 4-8 inches here tonight and tomorrow morning and the school secretary already sent us an email saying to look over the "no school call list" just in case! I love snow days...it makes me feel like a kid again! haha

We're expecting snow in a couple days. We'll see if it's really enough to do anything.

Six inches here can shut everything down. If we get 6 inches of snow, we also have lots of ice under it. It's been predicted 2-4 inches Wednesday night. We're either seeing things or we're having small flurries right now (I think it's in our heads though-you have to look really hard to see it).

Yeah, we're going to have plenty of ice under our's too. We got snow yesterday so that's all been packed down or started to melt and re-froze. A few kids and teachers fell outside of the school this morning because of all the ice! It's going to be very messy out tomorrow and if there's school I'm going to have to leave very early so that I can drive very, very, slowly.

We're patiently waiting. They didn't build any snow days in this year because we didn't use any last year. Oh well. I can stand to go to school one extra day if it means we get a little break. Our area is so hilly that it's hard for people to get around well.

It never snows where I live...today was a little cold, but sunny, so it was a pleasant day.

I was looking at Christmas trees on my break today and was frozen up in no time. Fortunately, my husband picked one up after I told him to go get one for x amount of dollars. We have been laughing because it is a bit crooked on top and there is a huge bare spot!!! It will add to the festivities, with the comments and all!

We've only got about 3 inches right now, but it's still coming down pretty hard. They're saying that we're only going to get about 4 inches of snow, but it's supposed to keep snowing until about 12, so I don't know...

We never did get any snow to speak of. But, with the cold temperatures that we have, the ice that we got Saturday night is still causing some problems on the roads.

It will not be above 18 degrees all week here! Brrrr! Glad to be indoors but my kids NEED to go out and run wild for awhile!!!

All the snow is also staying on the ground finally, but the ice is pretty thick as well.

Definitely not that cold here. It's about 30 degrees out right now and will be going down to about 20 tonight....still pretty cold. We ended up with just about 4 inches total and are expecting another storm for Friday. Great....I'll be stuck in the house all weekend! :(

It's 28 here right now to. Suppose to drop to the low teens tonight YUCK. I took Mya to the beach for a walk. Our walk ended up being only between 15 to 20 mins because it was way to cold.
I think she was a little upset with me.

You gals burn more calories in the cold, did you know that? Could be why I'm not burning any ...... sitting at the computer with 78* outside, the air conditioning set at 75* inside.

I would just love a good old fashioned blizzard. We never seem to have those anymore. When I was a kid it seems like it snowed everyday all winter and the snow drifts in front of our house were as high as the roof tops!

Hey Grammy that happened here not to many winters ago. I'll have to find the pictures! I have some from last winter that aren't up to the roof tops. But still deep.

Grammy maybe because we were little way back then it seemed like so much. I don't remember having so much snow since I have been grown up. I want a huge storm so I can have huge piles!

I can remember the days of the big snows when we lived out on the farm in Iowa. We could be stranded for days until the snow plow dug out our gravel road. It made more work for us - but when the work was done, we kids would play forever out in the snow.
