Are any of you experiencing this rainy, drizzly weather like we are here in Central WI? It is already so foggy...this means no playing outside tomorrow.

A CHANCE of flurries tonight and tomorrow a St. Louis station said, that's about 1 1/2hours away, and it's windy here. Last night there were tornado warnings around but nothing happened thank goodness.

We've had flurries today since 1:00 p.m. It won't be enough to cause anything but inside recess because of the cold. It should warm up to the 50's this weekend. It's about time it gets down to the 30's. We've had an extremly warm fall for our area. Tornado warnings all around us too, and "tornado like winds". We're used to that though. Lot's of grass fires in Oklahoma (they're located about an hour from us-we're on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border). We had about an inch of rain in a matter of 15 minutes. That's it. We really need more. It's been very dry this season. Not normal for us at all.

Weather here now is rainy and foggy. It snowed on Thanksgiving at mom's about an hour inland. We got about 10 inches I think.

It was very windy here today. The temperature hit 67 degrees - just two degrees short of the record high for this date. It started raining just before school let out. Tomorrow we are back in the low 40 degrees.

It was cloudy and rainy all day today. The high was about 58. It's supposed to be around 60 and rainy again tomorrow. We're supposed to be back down into the 30s (for the high) over the weekend.

Wow! Talk about variations in weather!!! It has been so dark and rainy here all day...the kids asked me today at work, "Why is it so dark outside???" I thought that was cute. I guess it's going to turn to snow tonight, so I drove the old buggy in the old garage!

Had beautiful snow over the weekend, then on Sunday it all melted when it rained. I much rather have the pretty snow over the dreary rain. At least the kids could go outside and play then. Hoping for more snow this week. Haven't watched the weather channel yet though to see.

On a side note, our neighboors across the street have their Christmas lights hung up outside. For some reason they are letting them stay on during the day while they are at work and it's driving me INSANE looking at them right out my living room window! TURN THEM OFF FOR PETE SAKE!!! IT'S DAYLIGHT!!! They blink as well...ugh! Usually I love lights, but not during the day, it just looks ridiculous!

I almost choked on my graham stick. You should see what our neighbors put up! It looks so ugly during the day time. I'll take a picture some time when they aren't home.

We have half our lights up outside. The ones on the deck. They're very simple but are not set to come on until 5 p.m. Once the wind dies down I'll put up the others. I don't want to be on a ladder in 30-60 mph wind. I'm accident prone as it is. I don't need help from mother nature.

    Wouldn't that be a shame...;)

Today they must have realized how stupid it looked and turned them off. Thank God. Even the kids noticed!

We have one house that is done up really cute and it can be seen outside from one of our windows. The kids love to look at it. It has 5 blown up figures (santa, snowman, reindeer, etc.), candy canes all around, a snowman on the roof, lights all over. The kids get a kick out of it.

Then there is me and my 3 candles on the window sill (sp?), and two little spiral trees outside.

Cold and windy today, but bright sunshine. It was so deceptive looking out the windows. I took the kids outside...and my god!!! I have never seen such confusion!!! No one could get dressed without a dilemma today..it took forever! By the time we got out there, it was time to come in and I was glad because it was toooooo cold!!! Anyway, it is supposed to snow tonight I believe and then get colder, then about 27 for the weekend, which isn't too bad for here!!!

Wish I had some snow, rain and warm here all day. Very foggy tonight. I hear that more normal temps are coming. Maybe a bit of light snow.

The gloomy days can be very depressing, but for some reason it hasn't bothered me...yet. As we get closer to Christmas we best be getting some snow or I 'm going to start complaining to the weather man!
