We have 3 serious candidates, already. Given we start school in 1 business day, this is a good thing. Blazer - it WAS for a biology and chem position with the option to teach college courses, too.
http://www.koco.com/news/okc-altern...car-in-school-parking-lot-police-say/34585080 OKC will need to replace this one. Plus they have 69 openings and school started this week.
My current salary is £44K (that's about $66K). However I am so close to reitirment (I am 58) I doubt it would be worth it.
It is getting harder to find a perfect subject specific teacher or tutor these days, so people used to publish an article on leading newspaper or try to find it online which is a lot easier to do.
69 is not that bad, honestly. While OKC is much smaller than my district; we have tons of openings - we had a job fair yesterday - and I expect many of these positions will be unfilled by the time school starts. Even worse, this is the same situation we are in every year.
