I love VP, but the other day I checked my credit card balance and it had 2 charges for $14.95 each for a payment to Pass Port To Fun (www.passporttofun.com) . I've never ordered anything from them. I did some research and found that there were other people who had incurred charges like this. If you use Google and enter "Passport to Fun" you can see what I did.

I love VP, but be careful about the ads that they connect you to after you order and keep a close eye on your credit/debit card account.

Someone on here mentioned that after you have created your piece, just click cart and you can avoid the additional offers. It will take you straight to your cart. Would that help you the next time? Those additional offers sure are irritating! Thanks for sharing your experience and sorry that happened to you!

I had a similar thing happen with Vista, and they charge that fee every month, too! So, be sure to get them to cancel your "membership". I had no idea I had "joined" that until I saw the charges show up on my credit card.

On a similar note, I was paying my credit card on line a couple days ago, and I received an error message that said my payment couldn't be completed and to try again later. Well, I did... twice before it went through. Yesterday, I noticed they'd charged the payment THREE TIMES from my checking account. I was overdrawn! Luckily I have overdraft protection, but it could have been bad if I didn't.

All of this info. helps. I'll try going on to cancel my membership, but I will have to figure out how since I didn't sign up for it in the first place.

I am a new user of Vistaprint and just started ordering this summer. I checked my bank statements for the past three months and no extra charges from vista or vista related company. You just really have to be careful about what you click and don't click.

That is my thought as well. I looked on my account page and saw nothing about membership for anything.

I have purchased well over $100 worth of (shipping/handling) stuff from VP, and have never received billing for ANYTHING that I did not specifically order. I think you need to be more careful when you are clicking through the ads. JMHO

    PWhatley,
I am very careful when I click through any ads and never ordered anything from Pass Port to Fun.
    ------
I called them today and told them to cancel my supposed membership and to credit my charge card. They were very nice about it. I will continue to order from VP. In fact, I got part of an order in today. I'm so excited!

This often happens with debit cards, unfortunately! I've had customers attempt to buy from the store and if it doesn't go through for some reason, their bank will STILL deduct the funds! With a debit card, the bank deducts funds immediately even though the store hasn't processed the charge yet. I'll find that I've only processed the charge once (the one time that it went through successfully) but the customer sees multiple charges. There is nothing I can do and the customer has to wait for the bank to remove the charges which takes a few days. That is another reason I hate debit cards, personally. I do not use one.

It happened to me too! My husband received three charges on his business' debit card. Boy was he furious! So needless to say, we won't be ordering from VistaPrint anytime soon.
