Wanna prove to your students saftey is vital?

    I just found this on Foxnews.......I plan on using it with my middle schoolers as a small lesson on saftey in the classroom, with just enough of an eww factor to make them smile.

    Enjoy, but beware if you have a vivid imagination, well avoid it

    That was a great story! As you mentioned the perfect combination of the ick factor to get the kids attention!!! :lol:

    I remember a teacher I had in middle school telling us a story about how he saw a kids eyeball get ripped right ouf the socket after gym class. I guess the guys were all snapping towels and hitting one another and this one kids towel hit this other kids towel just right and out popped his eyeball...LOL Not funny per say, but lemme tell ya, no one ever snapped a towel in that school again!

    That gross factor seems to draw kids in and gain their interest. It's a good thing I don't mind ickiness!
