Does anyone's Walmart have their school supply section going?

I'm looking for those 10 cent Crayola Crayons, I need to buy in bulk.

Wal-Mart is not my favorite place to go to, so instead of making a trip down there to see, I was hoping maybe you all could help me.

My Wal Mart doesn't have much in terms of school supplies up at all, and no real deals going on. It really depends on the store, and the manager sometimes when they start running the sales. My family is good friends with the manager of our's and he said he personally likes to wait to put out the bigger school supply selection when district's school supply lists are finalized, closer to August.

    Hope this helps!

The only worthwhile thing I found yesterday was the .22 cent crayons (Crayola, 24 count.) I bought 25 packs, and the cashier didn't say a word. Maybe they don't have limits? That'd be awesome.

I went yesterday and they were just setting it up. It wasn't by the regular office supplies, it was over by the seasonal aisles at the one I was at.

They had 24 pk crayola crayons for 22 cents. Spiral notebooks for 5 cents, composition books for 50-60 cents (depending on style). Colored pencils or 88 cents. Thats all I know the prices, as thats all I needed.

Maybe they never had the 10 cent crayons, or did they? does anyone know? or did I make up that price? I would love it if they were 10 cents a box and sad if that is not the case.

Ditto, school supply sales are just now starting. Office Depot had some decent ones last August! Wal Mart seems to get cheaper closer and closer to school starting.

I got 24 boxes of the .22 crayons yesterday. I am wanting to buy a ton of the pocket folders, but I want to get them for .10. They were .15 so I didn't get any yet. They also had Elmer's glue sticks (2 per pkg) for .20.

Gasp I didn't know the crayons were going to be 10 cents! Oh well it's only a couple dollars difference.

I got the crayons (22 cents for 24 pack), glue sticks (22 cents for 2 pack), and spiral notebooks (5 cents each).

I think there have been 10 cent crayons somewhere in the past. And WalMart sounds right... I'll be checking back to see if anyone has found any yet!

There's never a limit. The cashiers always say you must be a teacher.

All of the Wal-Marts in my area have their supplies out, but I haven't seen any .10 crayons.

WalMart normally does not put a limit on their school supplies. The Crayola crayons were .22 and the Rose Art were .15 for a 24 pack at my WalMart yesterday. Folders wer .15, glue sticks and glue in bottles were .22. They do not have much out yet. They also usually have a good price on markers .30 for Rose Art and .88 for Crayola. I have bought the Rose Art for the past 2 years and they worked as well as the Crayola.

Maybe Roseart, but I've never seen any .10 Crayola. They were .20 last year, and the year before.

Staples had the folders for 1 cent. I don't know if they are still doing that or not, but it might be worth it to call if you have one close.

I went to one of the Wal-Marts here in Las Vegas, and they had a big Back-to-School section. I bought 50 of the spiral notebooks for 0.05 a piece. The cashier was very nice and did not say anything about the amount I bought. I LOVE Wal-Mart. :)

The Walmart I go to is just getting their Back to School section up. I bought 60 spiral notebooks for 10 cents each. The cashier never said anything about it, but I got some strange looks from other shoppers. I also made sure that each kid got the same color for each type of journal (yellow-regular journal, red-word work journal, and green-math journal). I want to wait a little while to see of the folders and crayons go down in price.

They also have their 3 drawer storage units for 15.00. I was going to buy 2 until I found 2 brand new at goodwill for half off (only 3.00 each!!!)

I have gone to two Walmarts in my area. They both had school supplies out, and surprisingly they were already out of some stuff. Over the two trips I got 100 notebooks ($0.05 each), 25 packs of 24 count crayons ($0.22 each), 3 bottles of glue ($.022), 15 packs of markers and 15 packs of colored pencils (both $0.88 each.) I also got a stapleless stapler (around $4). I have my kids work in groups a lot, so that should be enough to last the year. (I was surprised at the end of the year there were only 3 markers missing out of my class pack.)

they fold the top sheet into the lower sheets (w/ the bit of paper like a tab when you fold the edges in).

Last year I bought Crayola crayons at Walmart for .10 a pack. I bought 10 packs...This is in the Cleveland area,so it may be different around the country. I also bought Elmer's glue there, and at Target I bought spiral notebooks for .10 too. They usually have the sale at the end of July/beginning of August.
