I just saw the ad in the weekly mailings but the stuff from there is usually of good quality, if it is close you can drive and check the out.

I bought two from Big Lots for $12 a piece on Monday. They look pretty tough/durable. I went to one Big Lots in our town and the color choices weren't too great then went to another one across town and they had a ton of great colors and fabric choices! :)

What is the quality like on the walmart/target/big lots beanbag chairs? How often can you expect to have to replace them? I ask because lots of places have $75 bean bag chairs and I wonder why so much money?

I purchased bean bag chairs from Target a few years ago that were a fake leather. Needless to say, they began to tear. I had to throw them away because they were leaking all over the place. I would personally recommend getting cloth ones so that they hold up better. I know it's not great for lice, etc...but money wise, I wasted $50 on them.

I went to big lots here and saw the beanbags, not bad-I think I would stuff them a bit more though. I did like the chairs that go against the walls, I am not sure what they are called. Those were only 12 bucks and they had a ton of cool colors

I'm not a huge fan of beanbags-I much prefer armchairs or pillows. When I was student teaching, we had beanbags. The boys would run and jump on them, popping the sides open. Even when you tell them not to, they always do. And they sit down really hard on them, again popping the sides open (the air gets caught in the bag part and explodes them. The little pills are a MESS.

I bought an inexpensive beanbag from Wal-Mart two years ago and I am very, very surprised at how it has held up. Looks brand new...and it is abused. :)

I'm getting one the "rocker" chairs and a cube (to hold books, a light, etc.) this weekend. Maybe a carpet too. I teach middle school so you don't have a lot of space for such areas, but I think it would be very inviting.
