i went on an interview on thursday for a small private school. it seemed to go well and i could tell they were impressed by some of my answers. they said they had a few openings and they would let me know sometime this coming week. i feel like i did a good job, but the interview was very quick so i'm of course doubting myself and thinking they already have people chosen. i feel like this is the closest i've ever been but i don't want to get my hopes up!
Have they called any of your references? In my experience if they call your references, they are seriously considering you.
If you have letters of recommendation from references, sometimes they won't call. I have one offer where they already had letters of rec from three of my references and they didn't feel the need to call.
