Veteran's Day

    Veteran's Day is coming. We would like to do something to honor the vets but I don't know what.

    Suggestions, PLEASE!!!!

    Small song and dance???

    Read a poem????

    Make poppies???

    C'mon-you folks are creative!!!!!:help:

    Sorry, I don't have a suggestion other than visiting Veterans with thank you cards or poppies. I don't really think it is developmentally appropriate otherwise, because "veterans" is not a very understandable concept at this age.

    I know there is a pretty neat flag in shape of ribbon we have colored & hung in windows.

    Poppies are for Memorial Day.:2cents:

    Learn some patriotic songs. Dress in red white and blue.

    Get a big piece of poster board and have kids put handprints. Send to local vets home or hospital.
