I completely forgot to have my kids make Valentine bags for tomorrow.:eek:hmy: Well, we left school early on Wed. due to snow and never went back, so not completely my fault.

I MAY have white bags to draw on, but just wondering if anyone has any other cute, creative ideas for a last minute project.

You could fashion an envelope of sorts out of red or pink construction paper.

I have also been known to use the brown lunch bags in the past...

Since it's last minute, you're best off with the white bags...put out an assortment of art supplies and let the kids have at it.

I used white bags and gave the kids an assortment of those foam stickers to decorate. I also found at Michaels these stick on gems that the girls went crazy for. Let them use crayons or markers too since letting glue and glitter dry takes to long.

I used the brown lunch bags (easier to find!) and die-cut various hearts for the kids to glue on.

I use bags and have them make little heart men. They cut out a heart, accordion-fold legs and arms, and make a face.

I had the children make a list of valentine words, and they wrote them all over their bags with red, pink, and purple markers.

I took the extreme lazy way out this year...

When I went to Wal-Mart to get the little cards for my two youngest, they had cards that came in a little mailbox shaped box. They were a buck more than just the cards themselves. I got the boxes.

Don't forget the old standby...paperplates! Bring up the bottom half of the paperplate to about midway and staple. Kids can add stickers or cut out hearts, etc...
