Do you mean a book that has the shapes of states (1 per 8 1/2 x 11" page) and lines inside the states to write? I haven't seen anything like that so far. Maybe it is online, but normally I just make what I think up in my mind. :)

Yes, Ms. J. That's exactly what I'm talking about. I want my kiddos to make a state book along with the postcard exchange. Guess I better get to work huh... :)

I am trying to put together a "passport" for the postcard exchange! Perhaps we can put out heads together!

Ooo! :) Then you can draw lines on there with thin permanent marker if you intend for them to have lines. This works better than drawing a bunch of states. That's what I would have done unknowingly...

www.eduplace.com/ss/maps has outline maps that can be copied. They are free. They copy off on a regular sheet of paper and could be bound in a book.

    Thanx all!

Sharon122, I like the passport idea. Have you come up with anything yet? PM me and let's brainstorm.
