Update: Adoption

Some of you may remember that I mentioned my interest in adoption.

I've got the ball rolling and I'm jumping through hoops to get everything squared away. I've been told that once I finish the paperwork and classes, it could take anywhere from a few weeks to a few years (yikes!) to get a child fitting the profile I've requested (hispanic boy or girl under 5 years of age).

Keep me in your thoughts! This is an unnerving process, but I'm a tough cookie!

Wonderful news!!!! I'm not sure if I want children, but if I do I've always thought adoption would be the best way to go. Congratulations and I hope you get to bring your baby home soon

 

That's fantastic! Adoption is on the table for our second or third. We're definitely looking at being a foster family when our kids are older and out of the house.
