I'll have to catch it. I'm a Mets fan as well. It's taken forever but I have finally stopped referring to Citi Field as Shea Stadium. At least this year they've been fun to watch.

I went to bed at 11pm. Got up at 1am, worked on school stuff (kinda) and watched tv. Met my workout buddy at 6am ... now, leaving for a meeting at school all day to work on CommonCore planning! It is going to be a looooooong day!

    Have a nice trip, Alice!
Today is the first day of summer school although it's a planning day so the kids don't come in until tomorrow. This is good because I could NOT get to sleep last night. Saturday and Sunday mornings I woke up at 6:30am with no problems so I didn't think I would have trouble going to sleep last night! Grrr!

I saw the Beatles at Shea, Alice! I've got the program around here somewhere.

Baseball and Beatles...pretty much my husband's favorite things. He follows baseball in general closely, but his personal favorite is The Mets...it's more of a chilldhood connection, I think. We made sure to make it to a game during their last season at Shea.

Beatles at Shea, was that 1966? Did not go to the concert but drove by the stadium. I remember us all begging our parents to take us in to hear the Beatles.

Also, it was a drop off point to enter the Worlds Fair which we attended several times.
