    We have a Kian at school. I think it's Gaelic.

    Next year I will have a student named Semaj. (It is James spelled backwards.)
    My aunt teaches a little girl named Female. Her parents didn't speak much English, and thought the hospital had named her with they put a sign on her bed. (It rhymes with tamale)

    Mercedes is a beautiful Spanish name.

    On a side note, DH wanted to name our twins (I think he was joking?) Lexus and Mercedes because that's what he could NOT afford once we had kids. LOL! P.S. we drive a Toyota and a Honda and love having kids :)

    Actually the names your daughter picked aren't that unusual. Last year Tyler was the 27th most popular name, Brooklyn was the 47th, Avery 38th, and Cheyenne 159th. These numbers are from the US SS baby name site.

    BTW I love all the names your daughter picked!

    We had two Mercedes this year in kindergarten. I think it is a really cute name.

    Kian is also a Persian name, along with Kiana and Kianoosh.

    When I student taught my supervisor's name was Mercedes Ferrari. First name, last name. Not making that up. lol. She was from Italy.
