Do you think it would be a good idea to take some continuing education classes online? U of P has some interesting elementary courses such as Curriculum Constructs and Assessment: Science and Mathematics. I'm not sure how much they cost but I feel like I need some extra "stuff" for my resume.

U of P classes tend to be more inexpensive than most universities around me. I don't see taking the classes as a bad thing, but check with your state that they will count as continuing education. Some states do not accept classes from U of P.

I had to add on a certification and I took the course through U of P. It worked out well. Everyone there is very helpful. They are not a typical university expecting "traditional" students so that is very helpful. I would suggest them. It was not too expensive either.

I have taken a few courses through them and loved it. I am planning on taking more.

A friend of mine got her M.S. there and it did not stop her from getting interviews...
