As part of our first day of school, we want to put together a trivia slide show for our students. We want the questions to be about our teachers. (We are a tiny school, most students know most teachers). I need help generating a list of questions to send to teachers. I will use their answers to create the questions. What else can I add? This is what I've collected so far: How long have you worked at _HS? What was your favorite subject when you were in high school? Where did you go to college? What is the farthest you've ever lived from ___ton? What is your favorite summer hobby? What was your high school mascot? How many pets do you currently have? What is the strangest pet you have ever owned? Was Mr. _(supt)_ ever a student in your classroom? Which of your colleagues were once your students? What club or organization do you sponsor? What is the best day of the school year? How many other schools have you served? Estimate the number of students you have taught during your career.
What was your actual age the first time your students referred to you as old or ancient? If you are a parent, have any of your children followed in your footsteps to become a teacher, too?
I always gave a Mrs. B 'test' on the first day of school. The kids loved it, especially when I tried to convince them that their grades counted! What job did Mrs. B want before becoming a teacher? Mrs. B is great at crossword puzzles. T/F Her favorite number/color is? She has 4 sisters. T/F Mrs. B likes scary movies. and so on and so forth......
A school I subbed at did this as a bulletin board.... think.like student of the week but like mystery member.
Favorite color? Favorite snack? What does Mr/Mrs so and so always have in their room? Who is your favorite singer or kind of music? What kind of books do you like to read? Do you prefer ebooks or the book?
