How do I get color from my transparencies to show up on the overhead?
It should automatically.
The colors should show up if you are using dry or wet erase markers. Even color sharpies show up. I wish I could help but I've never heard of color NOT showing up on the overhead. I'm curious to hear some of the replies.
yeah this sounds very odd. are you sure your overhead projector is working properly? it's not broken, old, or just colorblind (haha...c'mon that was a good joke) ?
Hey...that's the only logical explanation I see..colorblind!!
Well, when I print something on them in color, it shows up on the overhead black and white. The markers do come out in color.
It might be because the light in unable to shine through the color, so instead you see the black "shadow"?
I think you are using the wrong kind of transparency film. Or your settings on your printer are wrong (ink saving mode is bad for this) you want the colors to show vibrant off the overhead. When shown on the overhead light colors fade away in the intense light and the color seems to disappear. If possible change the color settings of the color transparency you are trying to make.....no light yellow, no light green, but neon green works....etc
