I have a number of students who need good cues when we transition into new activities. I do have the daily schedule up and will mark where we are but I'd also like to have a quick song, chant, game or other cue to indicate when it's time to start something new. For instance, for science, we'll all put on our "lab coats" (old white dress shirts) and for French we'll sing the Bonjour song. What could I use to transition into Social Studies? Our theme for grade one is "Families."
