I have an 04 Honda Civic EX. So I'm looking for the same thing but an 07. I doubt I'll get a new one. Mine is just fine. They told me I could get a new one for the same monthly payment. I'm thinking yeah right. I would have to have an 8 yr loan at 1% lol.

Well, I went to the Apple Store for my first one-to-one training session. I learned how to make a template (made my lesson planning template), I learned some new quick keys, I asked some questions about altering some ready-made templates in Pages (for my newsletters), and I began working on my new and improved website! I'm really excited to go back next Saturday and work on the website.

I have to say, if you use a Mac and have an Apple Store in your area, the one-to-one training is a great deal. It costs $99 for a year, and you get 52 one hour training sessions (1 per week). They will work with you on whatever you want to learn. What a bargain!

Threw in a load of laundry.
Met with some lady who found my son's wallet.
Will be making dinner for daughter soon.

    Just another summer day.

Today was our first day of pre-planning so I spent the day working in my room on the things that I hadn't finished. I didn't get everything accomplished that I wanted (unexpected meeting was called) but did actually clean off the desk/start organizing the drawers in my new classroom. I almost got my small group reading/math table cleared off and the shelving unit behind it organized as well. I will probably go in and work for 2 or 3 hours tomorrow and then I can pretty well concentrate on working on organizing the odds and ends and hope that I can FINALLY get verification of my class list since she had said that we could have them and we still haven't gotten them.

    Upsadaisy,

Most of the schools in my area will be in session by the 2nd week of August. We are on a "balanced calendar" so we got out May 25th and had weeks off in October, November, February, and April as well as the normal 2 weeks + in December. Our kids come back on the 27th and will get out after Memorial Day this year. I finally got to move out of the trailers (YEAH!!!!!) so I want to make sure the environment is totally perfect since I will have 2/3 of my class from last year. I want them to see a "different vibe" which isn't too hard when you consider that we have twice the room that we had in the trailer.

Oh, yeah, different vibes entirely. Your calendar sounds quite appealing. Our kids go back on the 22nd and get out June 1st, yet we don't have the breaks your school has.

I think I like the long summer break.

So today I woke up really late. Alice forgot to send wake up vibes. I did go buy more bridal shower supplies, some cat food and my Harry Potter book arrived! YIPPIE!
