Good Morning Everyone, I was wondering if I could get some feedback as to ageism in the education industry. I acquired my B.A. in Elementary Education in 1972; however, I never went into teaching. Instead, I secured a paralegal position in a law firm and have been working in the legal field continuously since that time. I am now in the process of winding down from that position and thinking about retirement. In that regard, I would very much like to pursue a second career in teaching by becoming a teacher's aide at an elementary school. I am still very active and I would like to do something useful in retirement for at least a few more years; however, I will be 70 years old by that time. Does anyone have any thoughts on this matter or does anyone know of someone who has transitioned to this career so late in life?
