I just checked News12 for the weather-- trying to figure out what to wear to a funeral tomorrow in record breaking heat.

    Anyway, the headline is:
"It could be worse outside, remember Snowmageddon?

They're running news clips from last winter's multiple blizzards.

    Gotta love it!!!

I remember Snowmageddon and I say bring it on! I'd rather have that any day over this! And yes I even say that in the middle of January as I cheerfully remind everyone at the barn that there are no bugs and no days too hot to ride :D I really, really hate the summer. I have two horses and the bugs are just miserable. The horses are miserable, I'm miserable. No one has any fun. On the other hand, all I need in the winter is my under armor and I gladly spend all day working at the barn!

You could send that weather to Southern California, TennisPlayer, and I'd be very grateful...

Wow! I am so grateful for the weather where I live. It gets up in the 80's and occasionally the 90's during the day, but it always cools off (down in the 40's) during the night. IT is 65 degrees now and dropping.

I grew up in central FLorida, and I absolutely, positively DO NOT miss that heat and humidity. Like the Prev. Poster said (in a nutshell) give me winter, any day!

We on the West coast are not getting summer weather. It was in the high 60s today. It is supposed to be 75 this week end. Maybe that warmer weather will stick around.

Trust me, Blue: some of us on the Left Coast are indeed getting summer weather. And would just as soon it went away.

Heat indexes up to 119 here today. I mean, that's just crazy.

I like the hot weather! I live in a low humidity area now, but I grew up in the midwest where summers were hot and humidity is high. It cracks me up when people around here think it is "sooo hot/humid" when it is 80 degrees and the humidity is 30%. Although I do like that the days aren't as blazing hot as they were at home, I don't appreciate that it gets downright cold at night!

I'd take heat over cold any day. If I'm hot, I might be slightly agitated. I think being really cold is physically painful! Around here winter starts in October...that thought kills me!

I'm not minding the heat. It's been 95 so not as bad as some other places. I would rather have this heat right now then cold winter. Hmmmmmmm maybe it's time for me to move to FL?

Winter sounds nice right now. Humidity is currently 97%; the heat index will go over 100 again today. Yech.

Yuck your humidity is really high. Ours is 85% right now. Not sure what it's suppose to do later.
