    * Emphasize working in a team - middle school philosophy in a nutshell!
    * Emphasize the whole student - what will you and your teammates do to help the students be successful?
    * How will you weight HW versus quizzes/tests, in-class work, etc?

In my middle school interviews (for math and science - and I had a ton of them before finally landing a job!), there were very few questions about content of the actual subject matter. They wanted to know HOW I WOULD TREAT THE STUDENTS and WHAT I WOULD DO TO HELP THEM BE SUCCESSFUL.

This is a WONDERFUL, BRIEF summary of middle school philosophy - I was asked about it TONS in my middle school interviews, and this would have helped a lot!
