and approved through the superintendents office!

The high school is hosting a fall carnival tomorrow night. All of the elementary students received a flyer last Thursday and again this Thursday advertising the event. It lists some of the attractions as well as the ticket prices. The tickets are being sold for:

    4 tickets for $1
    10 tickets for $5
    20 tickets for $10
    50 tickets for $20

Who did that math????? Usually don't you get a discount when you buy in bulk?

I guess they are planning on making their profit from the people who buy lots of tickets

I'm guessing they're working in tandem with my kids' distict.

Our "half days" go from 8:30 am until 10:45 am.... 2 hours and 15 minutes. But those standards, school would end at 1 pm instead of 3 pm.

Wow, that's some odd math! Um, maybe they like long lines and want people to just buy 4 tickets at a time LOL!

And Alice, your kids school's half day schedule boggles my mind every time I hear it. Really? 2 1/4 hours makes a half day? Hum, maybe the teachers should argue about all the extra hours they put in each day from 1pm to 3pm!
