I can't even rationalize into words how disturbing this is. I'm flabbergasted.

Very unfortunate eh that now the law has removed the authority of the parents.

The whole thing is very disturbing. Kids can sue parents because they don't like the punishments? Crazy!

all I have to say is...the lawyer should have said no to that whole situation. and that judge..what the crap is that! all we can do is shake our heads.

No wonder we can't keep kids in line at school, b/c they are sueing their parents! :p

Who paid for the attorney? Did the mother pay? How can a 12 year old girl afford an attorney? Did the attorney represented her for free? What a terrible thing for an attorney to do - to aid in the dissolution of a father/daughter relationship.

    This is definitely disturbing.

I think we should all keep in mind that this is one story, and not every story. And the reason it made the news is because it is so shocking.

What happen to honor your father and mother? This is absolutely ridiculous and this little girl will have very little respect for anyone in the future.

I'm willing to bet her attorney will get very little respect in the future as well. What were they THINKING?
