I understand this, my van was stolen, found damaged, so I have had a rental since May 21 and have been told 3 different times my van would be ready, At least the insurance is paying for it too.

I would love to ride my bike everywhere! I did in college. But now that I am on the top of a very large mountain and 30 miles from the nearest store with a 6 year old, the bike is parked.:(

LOL...What a great idea Sarge....unfortunately, I have no bike! At this point, I really wish I did, although going up my hill at the end of my trip would just about kill me ;)

Park your car at the bottom have your BF/Hubby drive you up and the next day you ride down do what you have to do then put the bike in the back of the car and drive up the hill

I don't know if you have this option (probably not) but I do this sometimes.

It's unusually flat where I live, but we get some rather serious wind. Sometimes, instead of riding fighting a headwind for 14 miles, I'll take the train 40 miles upwind (about 30 miles past my house) and practically fly home.

I can so live w/o the chocolate shake I just had from Coldstone...and the 45 cent bag of chips from the vending machine to follow it up with. I'm drinking a diet dr. pepper now...doubt it will help much...hahaha

Here's something I could do without:

"off the clock" committee meetings during the summer. For that matter...I could do without "ON the clock" committee meetings during the summer! LOL

I could also do without all the extra little bits of paperwork that seem to appear at the beginning of each new year. I am OVER all these MBA's in admin who don't worry about kids....all they worry about is data. Didn't anyone ever tell them that you can manipulate data to say whatever you want it to say? (Maybe I should force EVERY Admin MBA to listen to Don Henley's "In the Garden of Allah.")
