Does anyone else have one. It's called a "Royal Inspiration" and it's made by a company called Copernicus (I think). Here's the link.

It looks like a first grade teacher tried making a robot. I even think I might have my students name it.

I have the previous model in my room and I love it. It is large and takes up a lot of space, but it has so much storage that I accept its bulkiness. You are lucky to have the new model with the slide out dry erase board. The thing I dislike the most is that when I have a big book on it, it covers up the white board. But you won't have that problem.

That's a HUGE white board! It looks like it will hold a lot of stuff!

I am requesting a large white board this year... I thought about getting a "center" one like you have, but decided it would just become a place to pile stuff... so I requested a simple foldable one :D.

I'm actually going to use the white board to display the small sound-spelling cards for open court. I do my phonics blending on chart paper, and it will be good for that. On the other side, I have a pocket chart. I took off the small hanging white board and I'm going to use it someplace else in the classroom.

I have no shortage of white boards in my room. I actually wish they were smaller. Open Court requires a lot of bulletin board space "in the front of the room where all students can see it"

I like chart paper more than white board these days because I can take the chart paper and display it elsewhere.
