I am excited that the days will be hovering around 40 degrees!

I don't particularly like it when it is super cold!

However, it does cause me a problem setting out ice/snow/cold/polar animals.....when it isn't looking very cold here at all!

What do you plan for in January? What do you plan for when it isn't cold?

I'm stuck in limbo. The kids come back on Wednesday from Christmas break, and we are going to be winging it until I don't know when.

High 70s and low 80s here. Will probably start with Brett books and hope I get inspiration from there.

I do a lot of Jan Brett books as well and snow things. January is really our only reliable month for snow.

I'm starting with The Mitten, then a week of learning about Martin Luther King, then back to the animals of our area and how they get through the winter.

We're having our first snow of the year tonight. I'm guessing public school will be canceled -- but not our small private school.
