Hello! I'm looking for a basic printout for my Kindergarten class to cut out the stages of the water cycle and paste them in the correct order, but I can't find one anywhere! Anyone have one or have any good ideas to present this to them? Thanks!
I've made these water bracelets w/ my students the past couple years: http://www.littlegiraffes.com/weather.html It really helped them to understand the concept. If you have a LCD projector or your computer hooked up to the tv you can show this: http://activities.macmillanmh.com/s...html?Module=../Grade1/Chapter4-TheWaterCycle/
jedevine, What aspects of the water cycle do you want to teach? I have many resources, but they all have differing amounts of "parts" to the cycle. I have ones that have evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and accumulation (also called storage) but I also have ones that have percolation, transpiration, subsurface runoff, surface run off, etc. What specific vocabulary words do you want to use?
I'd really just like something simple, with the four stages... evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and back. Something with just a few pieces so Kindergartners can be introduced to it. Thanks for the ideas!
