Heard the audio version of this on a local listener-supported radio station today:

"The Story Of Stuff", a 20 minute animated/live action film.

Annie Leonard's quick-paced, non-whiny and positive speaking style gets your attention immediately and almost seems like she is going to talk about how nice the weather is going to be that day........until she starts talking about her actual topic (from the website):

She also discusses the culture of consumerism that is being actively nurtured (disposable everything, making you feel bad if you keep something too long even if it still works, etc), something I feel is negatively affecting our kids, and not just adults.

The movie can be downloaded too, along with various banners & posters.

    Good stuff!!!
