    Can you send me the activity, too?

    Hi, I'm a teaching assistant attending grad school to become certified. I am working with a kindergartener for my fieldwork assignment and would be able to use this activity!

    How do you send it?
    Thanks!

    I just wanted to add that another activity - but not a worksheet one - to do with the old lady is to glue a collage of "herbs and spices, nuts and berries" that have been gathering dust in your cupboard for the year. We get so into it we grind them in mortal and pestles and manual coffee grinders (no cord) and then glue them to plates. For those of you that cook and dont' have old spices-you could use it as a way to use up all of the spices in your collection so you can get new ones for the holidays. The children love the smells and it can lead to all sorts of descriptions and sorting or matching depending on where you go with the activity.

    Click on my user name above, a drop down list will appear and one of the commands will be "Send user a private message" (or something similar)

    Click on that and you should get a PM box that you can send to me. It will appear in my mailbox and I will be the only one who will see your e-mail address.

    One of my team mates made all of us felt pieces to go along w/ the story. She also suggested to have the students act out the parts of the story! I would love to see what different worksheets you may have! I want to do some sort of sequencing with the book for part of their seatwork with my assistant!

    I would like to say that this fall mini book set;

    http://store.atozteacherstuff.com/download-now/atoz_fallminibooks.html

    Has a story in it very similar to the Little Old Lady items. It might be worth your purchase if you are looking for more activities to go with this book. The high frequency words in this book are "look" and "at". A great little book for fall themes and a great one to use with TLOLWWNAOA.
