45 school days - not including weekends, spring break, and other holidays!! We're almost done! State testing is in 3.5 weeks then the stress of what to teach them sets in. I always wish we could State test, then break for summer - it would be so much easier!
37, minus a field trip, minus a track meet, minus 3 days for testing. We have a 2:00 dismissal one day, but that counts in my book. But if you don't count the last day, when we get out at 11, that leaves...31!
June 11th is my last day, still 53 days left! Actually , since I work w/ speechn kids, speech services usually stop 1-2 weeks BEFORE the actual last day, so I may get to start my summer vacation early!
but now that I think about it, there is field day, a field trip, and a carnival, and the last day ( that is not too much work) and a half day in there too, so less than 65 working days.. three days of testing also hmmm so really only 57 working days, I bet I will take a personal day too, so now I am down to 56~
44 with kids plus 3 staff development at the end!!!!!!! :thumb: I've been counting down since 65!!! Can't wait this for year to be OVER!!!!!
Don't know, don't care to count. I just know I'll get bummed out by the number. We had a ridiculous amount of snow day's this year.
69 days. We go until June 26th. Start again Sept.8th this year. Thank God we don't have to make up snow days, we had lots this year.
47 days left. I'll subtract out of that our 3-day camping trip, 3 scheduled field trips, field day, and our school picnic day. That leaves 39! We have two days of school that were tacked on at the end of the year due to closures due to Hurricane Ike remnants and snow days. I'm kind of hoping no one shows up on those days (although I'm sure many will). But if I don't count those, it will be 37 days. That's completely doable! Especially if I have many more days like today. It was the calmest day I've had all year.
