Anybody else have to teach computers/technology to k-5 without computers during PARCC or other testing?

I have access to a smartboard in each room, one computer for me and that is about it. Any ideas?

Can you find some robotics sets or Raspberry Pis?

code.org has some good resources for coding that don't require a computer.

I was going to say the same. They're called "Unplugged" activities. I have also just shown NOVA videos on the development of computers during these times, or started teaching about electricity and circuitry basics.

Our school just cancels all computer lessons for the 6 weeks or so for testing.

    Yay homeroom teachers...

It means we are teaching when we should have a prep. Plus, the kids miss it too.

I agree with finding educational videos to show though.
